Summary/Abstract: The subject of considerations undertaken in the article is the issue of communication in the field of technical specialist discourse. The communication process is carried out in this case by means of a specific type of specialist text, i.e. product information. The study will examine the flow of infor-mation between the sender and the recipient of the message, where both partners belong to a group of specialists who use typical language sign systems and have knowledge in a given field.
