Summary/Abstract: The modern world is in need of the integral truth about creation. How can a look at God’s creation in the light of the ‘perfectly created’ Mother of God’s Son help in this? In order to answer that question we first need to show the Christology of Mary’s relationship to the work of creation and the most important aspects of Mary’s relationship with God the Father. The next step is to choose the hermeneutic key to read the truth about man and the whole work of creation. That key is the truth about what God did in Mary in the mystery of her Immaculate Conception. Evolving this Marian truth was the overcoming of looking at Mary only against the background of the universality of sin and redemption. Dogma brings its reading in the perspective of the same plan of God: the Immaculate Conception of Mary is a revelation in time, in the beginning of Mary’s life, her eternal beginning in God’s plan connected with the Incarnation of the Son. Further, the intuition of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, deepened by Father J. Bolewski, shows that the Immaculate Conception of Mary has revealed her eternal beginning in Christ. It is a grace granted intuitu Christi – for Christ’s sake as the Firstborn of the creation. Also, to the extent that we are created in Christ, our beginning – hidden in Him – is holy and immaculate. It all has a deep pneumatological dimension, because it is in the Person of the Holy Spirit – the Immaculate Conception in God – that the creation in Christ is completed.
