MUNCA ÎN IMAGINEA PRESEI COMUNISTE
WORK IN THE IMAGE OF THE COMMUNIST PRESS

Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to illustrate the ways in which work was praised in the communist press. Starting from the sources of the time, namely newspapers, almanacs, magazines, I tried to reproduce the image that the Worker Party, respectively the Communist Party wanted to expose through the media available at that time. The study includes a qualitative analysis of the articles as well as an interpretation of them according to weather standards and what was intended to be exposed. I used both sources from the Romanian People's Republic and from the Socialist Republic to see the differences in doctrine between the two periods and the evolution of the press, respectively its role as a propaganda tool. The article also presents a quantitative analysis carried out on several issues of Cutezatorii Magazine, in order to provide a statistical facet on the level of information and its quality, in relation to the influence of the party and state officials. The quantitative press analysis is followed by an interpretation based on the result of the calculation, practically an analysis of the articles according to the content, all in order to be able to serve a contextualization of the respective period
