Summary/Abstract: Children's poems should not be built solely on pedagogical messages; they should also improve the child's thinking, questioning, metacognitive ability. It is important for the child to question nature, social life, values and metaphysical concepts whi le reading a poem. The poems of Mustafa Ruhi have remarkable features in this sense. In his poems, there are question images that lead children to question, think and synthesize constantly. As the child thinks about these question images, he becomes aware of his existence and questions the cosmic world deeply and from the inside out. The aim of this study is to reveal the aspects of children's poems that look at aesthetics and philosophy. According to the conclusion from the study, philosophical children's poems improve children's critical thinking skills and give children aesthetic pleasure. Increasing such children's poems will contribute to the personal development of children.
