Summary/Abstract: Ezhâr-ı Hakikat is a work written in the form of aphorisms by Ali Emiri during his time as a financial inspector in the Luşna district of Albania (1896-1900). The work contains 220 short texts containing advice on different subjects, classified according to Arabic alphabet. Most of the texts consist of apothegems related to root values such as self-control, empathy, respect, honesty and justice. All of the sayings reflect the author's knowledge, experience and life experience. In this study, sayings are classified according to the root values determined by the Ministry of National Education. The study is a qualitative research and was carried out with document analysis. The study was limited to the root values in the MEB curriculum. The main purpose of the study is to contribute to studies on maxims in Turkish literature. The aphorism type is included in the informative texts in the Turkish Course Curriculum. The program aims to help students enrich their expressions by using aphorisms. According to the results of the study, it was determined that Ezhâr-ı Hakikat contains many sayings that will enrich the students' expression power. Azhâr-ı Hakikat was simplified and published under the name Hakikat Çiçekleri in 2007. Therefore, the work can be used both in course activities and recommended for students to read.
