Summary/Abstract: The role of the monarchy within the cultural, economic and politic life of Romania cannot be contested. Its interest for the country situation was also marked by the numerous visits effected by the royal family representatives. Among the numerous visits of the royal family members in Neamţ region we shall refer to Queen Mary’s in summer of 1915, when she also visited Secu Monastery. According to the archived documents but also to memories we reconstructed this visit along with its importance and consequences.
