Summary/Abstract: The article examines the growing partnership between the European Union and the People's Republic of China. Attention has also been paid to the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and China. A brief chronology of diplomatic and economic relations between the said international entities has been made. The author synthesizes a short forecast of the future development and interaction of the parties.
