Historical Development of the Hungarian Regulation on Special Legal Order

Summary/Abstract: In the context of the 2020 pandemic, the regulation and content of the special legal order has come to the forefront of attention around the world. A similar thing happened in Hungary, but while new rules and legal concepts were developed to deal with the pandemic, there was a need to explore and present the historical background of the national regulation. This article presents the changes in the Hungarian regulations concerning the special legal order from the beginning to the communist takeover after the World War II.
