Summary/Abstract: Immigration is one of the most fundamental phenomena of humanity in which the individual settled somewhere other than where she or he lived. Factors that force an individual to leave their country and attractive factors in the destination country have been important in the immigration phenomenon. Economic, political and social activities of each period, wars, natural disasters, religious pressure, etc. are the most prominent factors within the country that cause an individual to migrate from where they live. In this context, the new environment where an immigrant encounters in the country he/she goes to for various reasons and the effort of adaptation are the main issues which should be considered. The concept of the diaspora is evaluating how immigrants are welcomed in a new society, how they preserve their identities and their adaptation processes. The phenomenon of immigration has influenced the field of art like all other areas of life. In this study, three immigrant Iranian women contemporary artists and their artworks investigated within the framework of conceptual basis and the fact of how the concept of diaspora affected the works of these artists were discussed.
