Summary/Abstract: Kai Brodersen is professor of Ancient Culture at the university of Erfurt/Germany. In 10 chapters of his book Dacia felix he describes the conquest of the area occupied by the tribe of the Dakers [germ. Pl./roman. dacii] north of the Danube in the interior of the Carpathian arch, conquered in 105/106 by the roman Emperor Trajan; according to the report “translatis exinde Romanis” the question arises, whether the entire population of the Dacia was relocated by order of Emperor Aurelian in 275 AD. south over the Danube to the areas of Moesia Superior/Inferior or only the roman army? In the Appendix we find the description of ten ancient sites in Romania/Transylvania, a list of ancient authors, historical sources and a detailed bibliography.
