RESEARCH OF ROMANIAN POPULAR CULTURE IN EASTERN SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: The magic of the poetic word and the original fantasy of the informants who collected literary folklore in the Timok area, Homolje we can see from the riddles, proverbs and aphorisms collected in the field, all from the wisdom and experience of the Romanian people south of the Danube, proof of preservation of Romanian spiritual treasure kept orally. Through the works collected by Serbian and Romanian researchers, which include ballads and doines, lyrical poems, epic poems, fairy tales, stories and legends, our goal was to highlight the creative contribution of Romanians in eastern Serbia to enrich the Romanian spiritual heritage.
