MACEDONIAN SITUATIONS AND PERSPECTIVES THROUGH THE PRISM OF THE CONVERSATIONS OF JOSIP BROZ TITO WITH MACEDONIAN LEADERSHIP IN 1972

Summary/Abstract: The meeting of Josip Broz Tito with the Macedonian political leadership, held on November 10th, 1972 in Skopje, led into complex circumstances, which largely determined the further development of the Macedonian political scene. They presented a reflection of each deepening crisis in the Yugoslav Federation and the Socialist Republic of Macedonia as its integral part. Such crisis we concequences of deteriorated relations and inter-republic relationships, as well as political clashes. The content of the conversation, led on the meeting, offers an immediate look into the social, political and economic situation in Macedonia in the early 70s of last century.
