Summary/Abstract: The relation of space, society and culture is important in shaping the verbal productions of a people and in the display of social structure through literary products. In the verbal creations of the people, it is possible to see the effect of this relationship on the fused structure of creation with the place of performance. “Mani” are easy to convey as short sayings; can be used in all kinds of emotional expressions; it exhibits a rich tradition as one of the basic forms of folk poetry, with its living structure that allows it to be created in various environments such as ceremonies, festivities, celebrations, games and so on. The fact that “mani”s can be said on so many topics and times has enabled many social spaces to be included in its content. When we evaluate these spaces, the window as a social space is striking. The window has often been expressed as the place where the performance of the performer, who expresses the performance environment and emotions, takes place. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the use of the window as a social space and the trace and action of the social structure in the manuscripts obtained from written sources with the text analysis method. The function of “mani”, which is a communication tool, in the communication of men and women in our literary tradition has been evaluated through manic texts.
