Summary/Abstract: The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s (TRNC) economy is mainly dependent on service sectors, among which tourism and higher education play considerably important roles. Thus, the study focuses on the prevailing conditions of one of these sectors, which is Higher Education, with the secondary and descriptive data obtained from the previous studies and a survey on the related official documents and statistics. The study shows that the TRNC universities present a very unique situation where the majority of the national income provided through this sector.
