Summary/Abstract: Article 7 of the 1980 Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods establishes as one of the criteria of interpretation of the Convention a call for the "observance of good faith in international trade". By introducing this principle, the legislator’s intention was to adapt the interpretation of the Convention to the changing reality of international trade.
