Summary/Abstract: The team work is a modern form of work organization when the independent teams take over a big part of responsibility for the causes of their actions by co-decision. The team members are equal partners and they solve the team goals together. Thanks to that they are able to improve the communication and create an appropriate atmosphere which is the key of successful outcomes - not only the team ones but as well the whole organization which they are working for. The principle of teams prefers the form of making team decisions and problem solving rather than individual activity because in this case there is a constant risk of misunderstandings and communication problems. The independent teams are the main organizational part of the lean production built on lean production cells.
