Summary/Abstract: Today, many factors associated with each other are rapidly preparing people for a complex and volatile future. This is considered the "new normal" and is defined as VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). Volatility represents, the increase in the pace of change; uncertainty represents unpredictability being in life, complexity represents the complication of relationships within life, and ambiguity represents the difficulty to understand the events around us. The aim of this study is to examine the new leadership skills of teachers of the Public Education Center in VUCA conditions. To that end, ten new leadership skills put forward by Johansen (2012) and developed by Yurdasever (2019) was examined within the framework of this study. These ten new leadership skills in VUCA conditions can be considered fundamental behaviors that successful leaders must show in the 21st century. 129 teachers from Bornova Public Education Center participated in the surveys in 2019/2020 Academic Year, which was designed in quantitative patterns and the data were collected through online platforms. "New Leadership Skills and KOMB Scale" consisting of six dimensions developed by Yurdasever (2019) was used to collect the study data. According to the results of the research, ambiguity decreased statistically significantly as teachers' working time in the profession increased. In this study, it was found that the leadership skills of teachers in VUCA conditions did not differ significantly according to age, educational status, seniority in the profession and seniority at the institution variables. It has been seen that the states of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of teachers at the Center for Public Education in VUCA conditions are related moderately to each other in a positive way. While there was no significant relationship between VUCA conditions and natural leadership skills of the teachers of Public Education Center, it was found that there was a moderate level positive relationship between modern leadership skills.
