Design/methodology/approach – Based on the purpose of the study, a conceptual framework related to technology has been established and Ayyagari et al. (2011), the scale created by it was adapted and a sample of 346 people was applied. Frequency, reliability, descriptive statistics, variance tests, correlations, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) were applied in the analysis of the data. Findings – Analysis results show that the level of technostress is high in employees. In this context, it has been determined that the mediators that affect the behavior of people at work are significantly related to technology. In addition, it has been demonstrated that intermediary elements affect the technological elements in half and intermediary properties are affected by the results of technology by 24 percent.
