The Effect of Industry 4.0 on Employment: Analysis on Civil Aviation Sector

Summary/Abstract: Technological developments continue to affect all areas of daily life. Industrial revolutions always cause changes in general life and employment. It is also possible to say that each industrial revolution brought new lines of business. Therefore, business owners need to be conscious of the new industrial revolution as soon as possible. There are many positive and negative results that come with new technologies. With the introduction of Industry 4.0, unemployment anxiety is widespread especially among young people. However, it is observed that new business lines emerged after unemployment experienced in each new industrial revolution. In this context, it is thought that the rapid awareness of businesses and young people about the current business lines will cause rapid progress. In this context, it is aimed to convey that Industry 4.0 will not cause employment problems. At the same time, it is tried to emphasize the necessity of educating conscious professionals.
