Summary/Abstract: The article presents in concise form the hitherto known facts about the Cyril and Methodius cult in Cracow, starting with the interpretation of Chapter XI of the Detailed Life of St. Methodius where information is given about the conversion of the "Vistula Prince" to Christianity and ending with the contemporary researchers of the life-work of Cyril and Methodius. Three manuscripts, kept at present in Cracow, which contain Cyrillo-Methodian materials, are analysed in detail, and their texts are published: 1. Manuscript Ms. Slav. Qu. 5 of the Berlin Collection in the Library of the Jagiellonian University, a manuscript of the first half of the 17th c., originating from the Duchy of Moscow, in which are included the Short Life of St. Cyril, the Short Life of St. Methodius and a troparion with kontakion for St. Cyril; 2. Manuscript MNK 319 of the Czartoryski Library at the National Museum, written in the 16th c. (with 17th c. addenda) on the territory of the Kievan Bishopric, which contains a troparion and a kontakion for St. Cyril; 3. Manuscript Czart. 2048 I of the Czartoryski Library at the National Museum, written circa the mid-16th c. on the territory of the Kievan Bishopric which contains a troparion and a kontakion for St. Cyril.
