Summary/Abstract: Boldizsár Csíky, Attila Demény, György Orbán and György Selmeczi are unavoidable creators of theatre musical composition in Transylvania and Hungary. Csaba Boros has edited the interviews with them into a dialogue that explores the specific aspects of independent composition and stage composition. Through the stories of the interviewees, we can get closer to the agonizing and exhilarating moments of their collaboration with theatre and film directors, the grotesqueness of their existence under socialism, and the craft itself.
