Summary/Abstract: The growing disparities in the development of regions have become one of the fundamental problems of the economy. Huge differences in the levels of income and living conditions divide regions into those of different dynamic development. The regional policy steers the development, levels out those differences and searches new development factors. The aim of the dissertation is to identify regional development factors in the context of the ZPORR programme achievement and to check how the regional development factors have been included in the regional policy.
