Summary/Abstract: Changes in the field of production, politics and education pose new requirements for foreign language training of professional personnel. The need for highly qualified specialists, including non-philological specialties, has increased. Taking into account the need to prepare future workers for professional activities, taking into account the new requirements of the information society, the main emphasis in vocational education should be placed precisely on information and communication technologies (ICT). The main task of vocational training is the preparation of qualified competitive personnel with a high level of professional knowledge, abilities, skills and mobility that meet the requirements of scientific and technological progress and market relations in the economy, the upbringing of socially active members of society, the formation of their scientific worldview, creative thinking.The purpose of the article is to analyse theoretically the possibilities of using information and communication technologies as a means of professional foreign language training and to test experimentally conceptual authorial provisions on the example of civil defence specialists.
