History of Notion as Philosophy

Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author is trying to point out that Gadamers idea about History of notion (Begriffsgeschichte) does have to do anything neither with history of notions nor notional history. The idea is neither the history of philosophy (problems history), nor introduction in philosophy (Eucken, Adorno), nor dictionary of philosophy (Ritter). The emphasis in word Begriffsgeschichte is rather placed on the act itself, that is, philosophizing, than on philosophic notions. Notional-historical researching and explaining of notions does make sense only if it results in singular notion, that is, singular attitude of thinking. The purpose of philosophizing is one singular notionality, in itself associated and cohesive. One singular whole cohesive notion, as the purpose of many notions.
