Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the specificity of online discussion task, considered as a communication situation during which participants learn in collaboration. The author also intends to recall principal rules about the organization of the didactic process in virtual spaces. There is used the discursive perspective and there is emphasized the importance of taking into account genre features of online discussions when formulating the aims of the task and the evaluation criteria for this new form of work and communication.
