Summary/Abstract: "The transnational European cooperation project, “DECLAME’FLE – Development of a FFL (French as a Foreign Language) Collaborative Space: Literature, Learning, Migration, Exile” seeks to meet the challenge of intercultural dialogue by drawing on contemporary literature on migration and exile and to offer new open educational resources to (pre-service) teachers of French as a foreign language. The paper presents the research conducted at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań that contributes to the theoretical framework of the project focused on determining the specificity of reading books in a foreign language and the readers’ ability of to talk about their reading experiences.The discursive approach in reading is discussed and several applications of the outlined theoretical concept are proposed."
