Expectations of employers towards graduatesof universities in Poland as an example of barriers to enter the labor market

Summary/Abstract: he work discusses the problem of entering the labor market by graduates of universities. The barriers hindering this process were analyzed. The paper discusses in detail the expectations of employers in relation to the skills that graduates applying for the job should have. Conclusions made on the basis of this part of the analysis prove large discrepancies occurring in this area of research. The study also presents recommendations of employers towards the functioning of higher education, especially in the development of students’ skills in their future professional life.
