Summary/Abstract: Spatial and social mobility in an increasingly globalized world is associated withnew challenges for social sciences, including political science. This also applies to methodsand methodology. The article aims to reveal the cognitive potential that lies in the use of72 STUDIA I ANALIZY / SP Vol. 59WOJCIECH ŁUKOWSKImulti–sited ethnography for research on politics and on the study of political behaviors (dasPolitische). The utility of this approach is illustrated on the basis of the research on socialand spatial mobility of small town residents conducted with the use of this method.
