Summary/Abstract: Since the middle of the last century Europe has increasingly sought to develop information socjety in various branches of life. There were plans to accelerate this development. With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, there has been an unexpected acceleration worldwide, not only In the EU countries, but also globally in relations to other countries resulting in incredible IT development. Due to emerging restrictions citizens have been forced to use e-services in both their Professional and personal lives. Students who have so far been happy to return home to enjoy the virtual world, have now been locked up in their homes, relying on electronic media. Has everyone been able to adapt to the new conditions? Will distance education prepare students for their tasks? Such questions arise because of the prolonged pandemic. Hence this article, which may bring the audience closer to the reality of students and teachers coping with the new challenges.
