The results of archaeological investigation carired out in 2001 in the Trinca-Izvorul lui Luca site

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the authors aim to introduces into scientific circulation the unpublished results of archaeological research carried out in 2001 on the multi-layered site Trinca-Izvorul lui Luca (Section XI). The presentation of the vestiges was made according to the already known structure, more precisely, the description of the stratigraphy and the general statistics of the materials; analysis and exposure of materials (complexes, inventory pieces, ceramics) on cultural-chronological horizons (Upper Paleolithic, Late Eneolithic, Bronze Age, Early Iron Age); elaboration of the synoptic table of the osteological material; identifying analogies (both for the site and for various categories of pieces), as well as formulating a complex set of conclusions.
