Summary/Abstract: The book review deals with the monograph "Sarmīte Māliņa" (Riga: Neputns, 2020) by Tomass Pārups. Māliņa is the only woman in the first generation of Latvian installation artists and known for her subtle synthesis of Suprematist, Minimalist and ready-made traditions.
