Summary/Abstract: The silicone figures of celebrities are a memorable museum attraction that entered the Bulgarian exhibitions during the last two decades. The article describes several interior renovations – mainly in the memorial museums – which lay in the museum narrative silicone models of popular historical personalities from the Middle Ages and the Revival epoch. The impact of new human figures in recognizable exhibition spaces is interpreted mainly through the popularity of the reproduced historical figures. The creative sides of the mentioned process have been analyzed in the context of substantive and aesthetic approaches towards the contemporary museum exhibition. Possible prospects are outlined in the logic of the new communication strategies of the Bulgarian memorial institutions.
