Summary/Abstract: Researched archival materials of the Wojskowe Biuro Historyczne and Archiwum Akt Nowych have uncovered a lot of new, previously unknown information about the organization of the Polish army during the November 1918 conflicts in Lviv. This demonstrates that although new books are published on the topic every year, it remains of significant interest to historians. The researched materials describe the process of training of paramilitary units and their transformation into regular military units. The process of creating the army was shown, not from the perspective of participation in combat, but from the organizational side of the basics of service; mobilization, education, supply, armament, and the financial side of the service of a Polish Army soldier.
