Summary/Abstract: The book represents the response of the Cluj County Branch of the Union of Romanian Architects to the 100th anniversary of the Union of Transylvania with Romania. The authors wrote three conceptual chapters: 1. A theoretical discourse. State and nation; 2. A historical discourse. Transylvania and the "Romanian tradition"; 3. An architectural discourse. State spirituality and ideology. For each place of worship, the authors retained, in a micromonograph, data on the context of the start of construction, location, laying of the foundation stone, the consecration ceremony, then the presentation of architects, painters, sculptors of iconostasis and furniture, construction companies and the materials used, the description of the planimetry, the overall and detailed architectural and artistic elements.
