Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper Nominal forms of address. Some comparative observations on European Portuguese – Polish is to analyse some aspects of the system of nominal forms of address in contemporary European Portuguese. The main goal of the author is to demonstrate not only certain problems occurring in learning nominal forms of address by Polish students but also difficulties in translating them into Polish.
