Summary/Abstract: The protection of juveniles against domestic abuse is the state’s duty in its wider association with the protection of human rights. The court in Strasburg in the judgment of 3 September 2015 contested the length of the proceedings regarding child custody, recognized a child’s right to be heard and the need to take into account the child’s maturity in the proceedings that concern him. The action also included the behaviour of state authorities regarding the restriction of the use of violence by the father of the child towards the daughters after the divorce of the child. The court unanimously found that there had been a violation of the European Convention on Human Rights.
