Summary/Abstract: Human rights is the postulate that pushes Humanity to new heights of progress, and the European Union is called upon to apply this postulate in a new way and in the 21st century, despite many opposing views and misunderstandings. Human rights are at the core of the Council of Europe’s activities, whose goals affect the lives of almost half a billion people across Europe. In this study, we present the main axioms and institutions that make human rights irreplaceable on the European continent.
