Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the creation of the Moldovan painter Florina Breazu. Recovering a lost universe in her memory, the artist brings a sentimental archeology to the spectator’s attention. Memory makes the symbols encoded in her compositions bear the mark of originality. Concerned about the identification of the particular elements of Romanian spirituality, Florina Breazu denotes availability for the research of the esoteric horizon of the ancient civilizations and ceremonial-ritual practices in her art.
