Sub-urbanisation results of the Szczecin agglomeration

Summary/Abstract: The article presents results of surveys related to some socio-demographical as well as financial and economic phenomena changes connected with the sub-urbanisation of Szczecin. The survey covered Szczecin City as well as adjacent communes. Results confirm the strong developing, but irregular, sub-urbanisation. In particular, Dobra and Kołbaskowo communes are affected by very strong sub-urbanisation expansion. In Goleniów, Gryfino, Kobylanka and Police communes, the process is noticeable, but not so significant like in the two earlier named communes. Stare Czarnowo commune does not suburbanize.
