Summary/Abstract: The author points out the great importance and influence of the art of film and explains the selection of three films. Two by artist Cheryl Dunye, the first of which, "The Watermelon Woman", is in fact a film about a documentary film about the renown black actress of the thirties, Fae Richards, and the second, "Stranger Inside", speaks about women's prisons. The third film is by the local author Danijela Majstorović, "Dream Job", a film about the phenomenon of turbo-folk music and the women-singers in this context.
