Present State of Education and Training in the Field of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Slovakia - Introduction

Summary/Abstract: Introduction Creation of conditions for safety of work, for complex protection persons in work-process and at the workplace, for preservation life and health of human, his somatic, mental and social well-being and quality of life, for protection wealth and another economic values claims create and maintain system of several measures. Responsible position between them belongs to education and training. Formation attitude towards protection health and attitude towards safe activity and behaviour as well as attitude and knowledge of area of safety of work should be a part of life-long education: in childhood, in education and in preparing for job, in education and training of employees and employers.
