Microeconomic multinomial logit models and their implementation in the DiscreteChoice R package

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the paper is to present the DiscreteChoice package devel-oped for R program, which can be used to analyze consumers’ preferences. The package contains an implementation of the discrete choice method, and some extensions are prepared to build fractional factorial design, to code the variables and to estimate of discrete choice model. Functions of DiscreteChoice package and their application in marketing re-search are presented in the article.
