CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE RESPONSE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TOTHE NEW AGGRESSIONS OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Summary/Abstract: The annexation of Crimea by Russia and the military divergences in eastern Ukraine have shaken the post‐Cold War regional balance, a situation of regional balance that has provided stability and development to the former Soviet countriesbordering Russia. But here we are again facing hostilities from the Russian Federation. The recent aggressions of the Russian Federation on Ukraine and the Czech Republic, ex‐Soviet states, have once again attracted the attention of the international community. Thus, this study aims first of all to assess the security situation in eastern Ukraine, and secondly to present the way for the international community to respond to the aggressions of the Russian Federation.
