Patostreaming – the dark side of the Internet. Analysis of the occurrence on selected examples

Summary/Abstract: Social media are changing all the time, bringing new research problems. One of them is the phenomenon of patostreaming, which is the result of the development of social media. The article attempts to characterize this phenomenon: starting from theoretical assumptions of social pathology to the analysis of selected video materials. The purpose of the article was to determine what patostreaming is and what it characterizes. Method case study and observation were used in this article.
