Summary/Abstract: One of the most important effects of the use of the Internet by public administrations is the increase of decision-making transparency. Currently, the government is characterized by a low level of trust from the population because there is a very low level of transparency regarding administrative activities that take place in settings where the population does not have access. The use of the Internet can provide the necessary infrastructure to ensure the creation of a bridge between public administration and citizens. The objective of transparency in public administration is to prevent actions that may endanger public integrity through acts of corruption and to achieve an optimal assessment of public administration performance. The objective of this paper is to present to what extent the use of the Internet in public administration can support the desire to increase decision-making transparency in public administration.
