Summary/Abstract: The article addresses a small semantic group of the terms of clothing – the new names of trousers or pants. The research material comes from the Database of Lithuanian Neologisms. The aim of the article is to discuss the origin and semantics of the new names of trousers or pants based on the material of the above source. Whereas the present-day terminology of clothing is largely unresearched, the summarised material is expected to be interesting and useful.
