Summary/Abstract: The author presents the innovative views of playwright Géza Páskándi about the theatre of the late 1960s and the 1970s. Páskándi published during this period several selfreflexive articles about the theatre of the absurd, and published also plays in Korunk. The article discusses Páskándi’s plays in the context of the articles and of the critical debates.
