Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with writing strategies for effective titles and abstracts that are essential in increasing the visibility of a research paper. In order to become successful marketing tools, titles and abstracts must develop an internal structure with advertising potential. This structure contains those key elements able to promote the research on the scientific market and turn the paper into an eye-catching work, hunted for and extensively referred to by members of the scientific community. It is also important for a scientific paper author to be able to condense the gist of their investigation in the title, which should have a limited number of words. Hence, identifying ways to improve the conciseness of a heading would benefit the paper through its main idea, which can easily emerge from a well-trimmed title.
