Summary/Abstract: The author has in view the correct exposure, at the national level and especially at the level of Dolj county, of the events related to the parliamentary elections in December 2012. The electoral campaign, the debates between the candidates, and the election results are analyzed on the basis of the statistics provided by the National Institute of Statistics, the Department of Statistics of Dolj County, the database of the parties involved in the elections, as well as numerous articles published in local and national press.
