The management of organizational and technical measures – process of institutional consolidation

Summary/Abstract: The formalization of organizational and technical measures as fundamental components of the responsibility of controllers and the security of the personal data, is not a novelty brought by the General Data Protection Regulation. However, through the way of regulation, through the legal framework created, the Regulation provided the necessary support to ensure a unitary framework for the implementation of these measures. The present analysis proposes to investigate the organizational and technical measures for the protection of personal data from the perspective of organizational management related to the legal provisions, highlighting their role in the process of organizational consolidation.
